Fantastic Four aint as bad as Dare Devil or Batman Begins... (jeeez wots wiv the FF, DD, BB ? any way)

story plot:
When an experimental space voyage goes awry, four people are changed by cosmic rays. Reed Richards, inventor and leader of the group gains the ability to stretch his body, and takes the name, Mr. Fantastic. His girlfriend, Sue Storm, gains the ability to turn invisible and create force fields, calling herself the Invisible Woman. Her younger brother Johnny Storm gains the ability to control fire, including covering his own body with flame, becoming the Human Torch. Pilot Ben Grimm is turned into a super-strong rock creature calling himself Thing. Together, they use their unique powers to explore the strange aspects of the world, and to foil the evil plans of Doctor Doom.

the story plot was ok love, frighting and heroes wining and savin the blinking planet nothing really new but some how i like it :P.... i must state this now as i only found out recently i h8 was soooo much h8 for Jessica Alba :@ .... dont ask me y but she blinking every where :=( sin city (film i want to watch) and on mags in shops :@.
ha ha Chris Evens is cute :D and way the graphcs in the film was really kool almost life like. the ending the coolest with the fire four :P .... theres a few funny moments ... a few guys parts like seeing Jessica alba in her under .... not many for the girls :( but do now worry theres one scene with Chris Evens in the snow butt naked :D *DONT get to see his butt so dont get to happy :P*

Monster.Inc

Story plot:
In a land of monsters, James P. Sullivan is king. He and his coworker/ friend Mike Wazowski are two of many monsters that work for Monsters Inc. a utility company that generates power for a very paranoid and nervous city of monsters. This power, oddly enough, is generated from the screams of children, which is produced by scaring them in their sleep. One night, however, Sully uncovers a devious plot to rid Monster city of it's power problems, but in all the wrong ways. Together, ironically, Sully and Mike will fight to protect the innocence of the children they scare every night.

Cool animation, great story plot and also sweet at the end :P. (Ha ha i used to think that there where monster when i was lil too) so this film was really funny now n relates when i was lil.
sulley is the best becuase his huge and furrie :P. All the voices used matched with all the charactors. A cool film to watch with lil ones.

Garfield the Movie

Story plot:
In this CGI film of the classic comic book cat known as Garfield, Garfields life is great. He eats, and sleeps, and thats all. Now, his owner, Jon Arbuckle, just got a lovable pooch named Odie. Garfield's life spirals out of control now that Odie is in the same household as him. One night, Odie is kidnapped, and Garfield feels that he is the blame for what happened. Garfield sets off to find the crook, and get Odie back.

The only reason why i watched this film was becuase it had Garfield in it and thinking that its going to be really good like the comic or the short films.
If your going to get the charactors right at less get the dog Odie right :( the dog didn't look like anything like the Odie we know :@ wheres his floppy ears :'(.
The animation of Garfield was a disappointment but the skill used to create Garfield was really good.

Full House

Story plot:

Based on the Korean comic strip of the same name, Full House earned an average viewing rate of 31.9%, and its final episode even attracted 40.2% of all viewers! Song Hye-kyo won the hearts of TV lovers through her skilled performances in popular TV series hits including All In, Hotelier, and Autumn in My Heart , while Rain (a.k.a. Bi) is also famous as a pop singer. The all-round star (whose real name is Jung Ji-hoon) possesses a dynamic, mellow voice and is known for his down-to-earth and modest behaviour. Director Pyo Min-su was not able to land a potential TV series hit with his earlier, more artistically-inclined works that include Lie, Foolish, and Solitude, but he created a real winner with this touching romantic tale. Written by Min Hyo-jeong, who was also responsible for the script of Rooftop Room Cat .

This korean film is tranlated in to Cantonese. in this film as usual has a "bitch" or a "love triangle" but in this case there is a love square (if there s one out there).
The plot of the story is easy to pick up and easy to understand what going to happen next or whats going to happen at the end of the film. The main two charactors at the begining hate each other, in the middle they slowly understand they may like each other but instead of telling they protent they dont and then at the end of the film they fall for each other.

Miffy - Dick Bruna

The creator of Miffy the most well known little white bunny...

Who:
His a writer and illustrator, writen about 100 books translated in 40 different languages and sold more then80 million copies all around the world.

Begining:
Miffy was created in 1955. at the begining, Miffy didn' have a gender until Bruna started doing the first book, thats when he though a dress would look good on the characters.
Since the first book came out in 1955 and until now miffy is about 50 years old. Also through out the 50 years she has not changed and is still young (a child bunny). It has taken a few years before she looked like she is today.
In the first book, Miffy looked more like a frabic toy animal.
for one o his books "Miffy in the tent" was created when his granddaugther Anne was playing in a tent.
Sometimes Bruna is sometimes refferred to as "Miffy's Father"

Miffy:
Depending on the story, she could be like a baby or behave like a 4 year old.
her grandpa and grandma first appeared in 1970 on Miffy's birthday.

Behide the colours:
Bruna uses only 6 5 colours in all his illustration of Miffy. the bright colours thta he used are green, red, blue, yellow and white. He never uses purple or orange.
It took him a log time to find the right grey and brown for his characters of an elephont and Bon the bear.
Only when all 12 illustrations are finished will he start doing the writing for them.

Illustrations:
he uses simple outlines, looking at subjects around him and when he starts to draw them he only draws the necessary parts.
so all te illustrations are in 2D this is because he does not draw in persective.
ever 12 pages he does there would be several hundred sketches before he gets his final design. the materials he uses are pencils, brush, poster paint, scissors and glue before completely satisfed.
In his work you always see thick, black lines around all of his charactors (called contour). these were carefully painted by hand with paintbrushes ad alsoif you look closely at them you can see the shaky edges.

Making the books:
All the books are 15.5 x 15.5 cm so the book will be able to fit in a small child hands nicely.
There is 12 illustrations on the left is 4 lines of a poem.
Ever new book he doses, he divides the story in to 12 parts, with 12 pencil sketches. When he was happy with the final design he would paint the black lines on to a film. underneath the film transparent illustration, so that he would be able to apply the colour he wishes to uses.



Secrets to his success:
The uses of colour, simple drawing, painting and the small book all helpped for his success.

Bruna and the world:
No only is he well know in Netherlands but alsowith everyone around the worl.
His famous in Japan, the reason wy is becuase they adore his work.

Sesame Street

Arrr the the good old time when your little. Sesame street was one of the best kiddie programes around when i was little. Just because of the bright colours and silly cute songs. This programe is still very popular today as it was when we where little I am sure its still on today but not as good as the old days :P

Wish - Manga

Story plot:
Vol 1 - One moonlit night Shuichiro saved an angel stuck in a tree.
The angel granted him a wish to repay his generosity.
Shuichiro said, "I need no wish, I can get what I want on my own."
But they'd both soon learn that some wishes can't be fulfilled alone.

Vol 2 - Shuichiro, a pragmatist, had very little use for things ethereal.
But when his home becomes haven to heavenly guests, his life is made surreal.
One angel in particular has promised him a wish sublime,
And to find the wish he cannot name, the angel will journey back in time ...

Vol 3 - Kohaku, an angel, met a man while on assignment to the Earth.

This manga is a really good manga to start with if your a girl becuase it has cute charactor and funny. (As this was the very first manga i got that got me hooked to wanting to read others).
In the manga you will or may have to read it a few times before you really get it i had to read it 2 times to get the plot and what was happening.

There art work and stories are really amazing and i would say that i am a great fan of their work because of the first book of theirs i read (Wish).

Chobits

Story plot:
Hideki Motosuwa is a poor country guy who just moved to the city to further his study. One day on his way home from work, he discovers a 'Persocon', a maiden-shaped robot laying in the dumpster, discarded and wrapped up in bandages.

This is a japanese manga cartoon. The story plot of the film is different as they have added things to it that i haven't read in the mange version. The dvd cover says for 13 up wards but i think there are a few things in the film that should be for 15 upwards as there are some sexual text n scenes.
This film i think over girlie film, but at times guys can watch it as there are parts that they may watch but the girlie parts i think not for guyz unless there really into there girlie side :P.
The story is really in deep in the way that you may have to watch it a few times before you really get it i think any way.
This film really can relate to females of all ages (13 upwards maybe) becuase the story has the theme of confussed love.
In the film there is a scene that you may cry in its when Chi (Elda) and her sis Freya are talking when Freya is a point for death (or brake down :P).
"The one just for me"
The dvd cover and the inside of it looks kool even if its in baby pink. Just the colour gives you the idea that this could be a girlie film and should be touched by guys :P to warn them.

Finding Nemo

story plot:
Marlin (a clown fish) is a widower who only has his son Nemo left of his family after a predator attack. Years later, on Nemo's first day of school, he's captured by a scuba diver and taken to live in a dentist office's fish tank. Marlin and his new absent-minded friend Dory set off across the ocean to find Nemo, while Nemo and his tankmates scheme on how to get out of the tank before he becomes the dentist's niece's new pet.

The reason why i like this film is becuase it has great and detailed animation on the charactors. because it took longer the results should be better then the other films Pixar and Disney have done.
The film was made for all ages and theres something for everyone.
even the DVD cover form canada look cool becuase of the gloss they used to highlight the effect of the sea waves.

Shaolin soccer

Story plot:
A shaolin kung-fu practitioner is seeking a way to spread the word about his chosen art. He meets a down-on-his-luck lame ex-football player who trains him and his five brothers to play football. They form a team, and are soon entered in a prestigious tournament with a 1 million dollar prize.

A film from Hong Kong, my family who watched this film said it was funny as hell but when i watched it, it wasn't as good as i though it was. there were times where it was really funny like when they all started to dance in front of a little restant and then the owner yelled at them becuase they when doing work.
Stephen Chow ealier films are more better then the films his doing now but he hasn't changed
in making films and making people laught their heads off.

The Incredibles

story plot:
Mr. Incredible is a superhero; or he used to be, until a surge of lawsuits against superheroes submitted by the people they've saved forced the government to hide them in witness protection programs so they could lead normal, anonymous lives. Now known exclusively by his secret identity, Bob Parr, he lives with his wife Helen, formerly Elastigirl, and their three children Violet, Dash, and Jack Jack. He works as an insurance claims specialist, and he's fed up with his pushy boss and his immoral profession, but his wife's worked too hard to build a normal life for her family to abide his nostalgia for heroism. When Mr. Incredible's offered the chance to play the role of hero again by a mysterious informant, he jumps at the opportunity, but when it turns out to be a trap set by an old nemesis he had a hand in corrupting, the whole family must reveal themselves to save Mr. Incredible and countless innocents.

hay ray i got this film. i heard from friends that this film aint as good as the other films Pixar and Disney have done already.
i though ok it may just be them thinking it crap but when i watche it, it wasn't as good as i thought it was so i think i gree with them not as good as the others they made.
over all Pixar has done another great job even if the story plot wasn't as good but the animation is getting better and i think they used a new programe to do some of the animations on it.

War Of The World

Story plot:
Ray Ferrier is a working class man living in New Jersey. He's estranged from his family, his life isn't in order, and he's too caught up with himself. But the unthinkable and, ultimately, the unexpected happens to him in an extraordinary sense. His small town life is shaken violently by the arrival of destructive intruders: Aliens which have come en masse to destroy Earth. As they plow through the country in a wave of mass destruction and violence, Ray must come to the defense of his children. As the world must fend for itself by a new and very advanced enemy not of this world, it's inhabitants must save humanity from a far greater force that threatens to destroy it.

ARRRR jeez you have to watch this film its the best film i've seen this summer :P.
:$ There were a few scary scenes but i am ascaried cat so anything kind of scary is scary to me :P :$.
In the film there where some random funny parts thats the thing i wouldn't of thought there was goin to be any.
The thing that confuessed me was the ending i had to ask others who, went, what and how , what happened becuase i was that confuessed :P.
Theres non stop action through out the film.
Dakota Fanning through out the film she blinking screams all the time and its the only time that i want to slap her around the face :@.

Kung Fu Hustle

Story plot:
Set in Canton, China in the 1940s, the story revolves around a hapless wannabe gangster who aspires to become a member of the notorious "Axe Gang." Other characters include an obnoxious landlady and her apparently frail husband who exhibit extraordinary powers in defending their turf.

Not as funny as i thought it was going to be but got better and also the action too near the end of the film.
Because it was in chinese i was laughting at what they where saying and wells the others where sitting there thinking what the hell u laughing at :P. Things they were saying in chinese were really funny this could be because they didn't understand and also becuase they where paying more attion to what the subtitles to the film.
At times i had to read the subtitle becuase i didn't understand the mandarin parts so i missed a bit of it. That was the only pain in the butt for me :@.
The graphics on the film was amazing the kung fu/martial arts used were also great.
The over all thought of the film was that there was some funny parts there could be more i think. The trailers kind off took all the funny parts so basicly we watched it all almost.
